Folding Spoons

This is a specialized cooking tool that few people know about. These are folding spoons.

These particular ones are made of beech, which is a nice clean wood well suited to the kitchen. They are used to fold dissimilar ingredients together when you don't want them uniformly mixed.

For instance, if you want to fold whipped cream into a pudding of a trifle (a marvelous desert of fruit, pudding and whipped cream) you would use this spoon.
